The Job Training Partnership Program in Tennessee offers a program whereby portions of salaries for qualified employees may be subsidized for up to six months. The Monroe County Vocational Technical School offers a program whereby training classes can be set up for specific skills. These classes can be offered either on the work site or at the school. A training center has been built by TRDA in the Tellico Industrial Properties.

The Department of Employment Security offers many services to new industries. The staff can take applications on site, conduct interviews, and provide screening services.
Many industrial support services can be found locally or within the Interstate 75 corridor from Knoxville to Chattanooga. Tool and die, foundry; heavy hardware; hydraulics; metal stamping; sheet metal; lubrication and welding supplies can be found within Monroe County.
